Who is my favorite book character......?

My favorite book character  is Lucy from happily ever afterlife ghost-coming,by Orly Zucherick .She has brown eyes and dark hair.She wears skinny dark jeans,a colorful double layer pink shirt,ankle black boots with a tutu (that she accidentally put on when she was about to die) .She is a ghost.

A good thing about Lucy is that she can trick you very easily (about herself)that she is a girl girl because she is a tomboy!)
She has a twin called Cecily(CECE)(who luckily is also dead and met Lucy in the cottage they live in)but the bad thing about Cecily is that her friend is Lucy's enemy(Georgina and her side kick)!

My Holiday Recount

On a beautiful Monday morning me along with my mum , for starting as normal we went shopping (for grocery's).Next we went to the patrol pump to give old clothes to child cancer foundations followed by the bank ( that smelled horrible because bird pooped all over the trees!)Then we remembered that there was a special on girls and ladies clothes in farmers! So we turned to the shop since it the special was in the GIRLS part we arrived at the upper part,as we went up all the Christmas decorations made such a magical looking paradise!Soon we arrived to the big girls section mum got lot's and lot's of summer clothes for me!I also wanted a fidget cube too but farmers was the only shop that sold them but they were fifteen dollars!Next we Quickly got to warehouse and tried all  the gumboots there but there seemed to be a problem in everyone  of them!For example one was to expensive another was to long ,to heavy.Mum and I looked for clothes for my mum and my cousin, meanwhile I had a look at Christmas decorations  and also spotted a classmate while  buying new school sandals!As soon as we got home, I ate my hot deli food from Countdown.In a little while we went to the sari-sari Asian supermarket to go and get prawns for dinner!When we got home I got in with my other cousin for trying to add him to whats-app.Because he had two sims! And had whats-app on the second one!But then we entered his other number and got him on finally!Later on I watched YouTube videos  with dads old headphones.🙂

Term 3 highlights

1. Go4it- go for it is a really good thing to do because that it is nice and active.

2.Te Reo rotations- te reo  rotations were awesomely fun and it helps us learn more te reo.

3. Crocodiles/Cops & Robbers golden time- thought the games on the play grounds were the best golden times in my point of view.

4.seasons art -the seasons art is my favorite artwork in the whole term and it help my drawing skills.

5.The seed flower art-I enjoy gluing and painting like the Technic we used in the seed art.

6. story bird-story bird is good because it is the site that we use and we can use our imagination with nice images. 

 

7. Mandarin-Mandarin is a nice language to learn with our Chinese teacher Bethany.

8.Think before you click posters-The 'Think before you click'Posters were one of the free creativity type of work and it was the type of work I like mostly.

9.Climbing trees in playtime-climbing trees is one of the thing most kids like to do and it is fun except when the trees are wet and slippery!

!0. Getting the super kid award-Getting the super kid award is one of the things that kids don't really keep getting and it makes me proud.

11.Season riddle-The season riddle was enjoyable  because of the descriptive language.

12. Math Whizz screencastify-The screencastify was a little hard when I first tried it in room 16 nut now it is actually quite nice to do.

I am a season...

Trees start to get bare when I come around.
Colorful leaves fall covering the trees and ground like a blanket.
I make the grey clouds flow over the blue sky.
As I approach the days slowly stretch themselves out,as  the night is cut out.
Animals collect food to survive the winter.
The plants start to dry out.
People start to wear clothes a little warmer.
The  sun puts its warmth and light a little down,  and the cold changes its temperature.
The wind whooshes around giving a waving touch to everything.
Animals go back to there habitats to hybernate.

Hiwi the Kiwi

On Monday morning in the school hall there was the minstral and Mrs Minstrel doing some funny songs for the school.We learn some some songs that had meaning behind them like kai moana (seafood).I learn how important it is to wear a life jacket every time you go on a boat and to measure a fish  if you catch one (if its to big you can't catch it because it's going to lay eggs and if it's to small it's a baby 30cm is the right size),plus most of all to to touch a fish with a wet towel and keep a salt water fish in salted ice and wash it with salt water or else it will go off fast. Also  to never throw rubbish into a water way,because it will look like a fish to a endangered creature(the Black Petrol bird)and they will eat it and surely die.This morning Mr & Mrs Minstrel made us dance to his songs and make us laugh with his jokes and his way to say 'thank you'  was the thing that made me laugh the most!My favorite part was the dancing with Mrs Minstrel. One of the most important thing was to always shot a Black Petrol(an endangered NZ bird) with a water pistol so it doesn't get caught on your hook if it tries to eat the fish our catching when you go fishing.

Holiday Recount

"Your not going to find it Mom!"I exclaimed at my mum trying to tell her she won't be able to find the type  of  dress she wanted but she still took me to the Farmers shop.

As soon as we got there I asked if we could go to the girls part,so we it was my luck we got to go the first.Soon we were there my Mum was having a big look at the jackets.

Not long after my mum called me to see if some clothes fit me and they were the color of changing black\gold sparkle with an owl warm winter shirt & the red dress that I wanted  for my birthday.

As soon as we got home I was extremely excited  that I wore it on Saturday.

Highlights of term 2

- Circle time with Wincey (toy spiky spider) circle time is when we can be free to  tell teacher  about any problem  and it can be solved.
- J rock a dance performance about recycling  and the kids that didn't do it got to see the performance in the school hall.
- Golden time was one of my favorite activity's to do!This term one of my most enjoyable golden times were cops & robbers.
- The 'into the woods' production   was a great item that J.P.C  did for our school.Into the woods has three fairy-tales joint together to make one story and the children  did awesome acting!
- Water sustainability is our science  protect and our teacher wants us to convince people to use less water.
- 'Math Whizz' is one of our most enjoyable learning site and we are doing a raffle for 'Reading Eggs' 'Lexia' &  Math Whizz.
- 'Sacred Heart' & 'Pentecost' flames are colored with oil pastels  and we have to smudge it so that it looks realistic.
- 'Cross Country' is a running race in the redwoods( that yr 0-2 do in school),which is a  good exercise to keep kids healthy.

WALT write a persuasive argument about saving our water. 💧

🚰By my opinion we should start to save more water  around the world.So to do this we can do a lot of  actions   and we have to take care of gods  creations because we are caretakers of gods creation and it is our responsibility to take  of gods creation.

There are lots of ways to take care of gods creation( especially water)  like taking shorter shower ( or baths) Or we can even try to  not pollute water o save it.  We were given a special gift from god that was water and the only  main thing to live and keep our planet alive.

Only a fool would thing that we can still live  without water on earth  wanna see reasons well  we can't drink juice or fizzy because it  is made from water and humans and we need water to live if we are even making it.And we can't have milk because cows and goats drink water to give milk!

One of the action children can take is to take to the council or put up sighs and posters  around the town and water ways.For parents we don't  need to wash clothes one at a time and we should not keep the lights or the T.V all nights .

One of the main things is  to not take a vehicles  to short distance, this is because  the structure of a veiacle  dose include water.And talking about vehicles how do you wash  your cars? Is it by a hose?Or a sponge and sop? It is a good idea to do it with a sponge so  it won't loose much water.

And how do you  water your plants the  best idea of doing that is  with a sprinkler.One of the bad stuff that humans are planning to do is that t go and live on other planets but if we don't try  to change our habits then we will go there and wreck that planet too!And so as I said  we should take care of water and sustain it.

The Enchated Forest

"How can we keep our tree house a secret and make an show?"asked Bella "we can ah........I don't know"muttered Finn."Can we just forget that we have this tree house and put a lock on when we are out?"Shouted Lisa,"OK I agree with her" said Flora" should go with that plan".The team were planning  to make a show called'The china town band'.One sunny morning the went to a forest( that bob's grandfather said was haunted)to have a distinction about  what  do,suddenly the heard a voice it said"why don't you make the studio in your  tree house and record  the stuff you do then put the video all over twitter,Facebook and YouTube hmm?" said a wickedly voice "will you stop mumbling will ya?" exclaimed Finn "now what did I say?" questioned Shelly depressed   "stop!"  shouted  Lisa  " wait...if none of us talked then who was it ?" so  the group were so attracted by the  mystery voice that the walked on there was nothing, they walked on some more.Soon enough they had found out that they had walked on a little to fare"wait guys lets calm down and go back I'm sure  that  it was another team  that had come on a camp and was talking to each other, OK fine now?"said Chris trying to solve the problem "I think we should  go back now ... you now" bellowed  flora " what?scared of ghosts hmm?" bullied Loyd(who had  still not calmed down)  The all of the sudden (without anyone knowing)Bella had a peek back"ah...guys a think we are ...LOST!" There was  silence  nobody said a word( there was no a utter  sound).The there was a scream...more scream...and more! The group now had no  choice except to find their way back.Now the group  has started to walk along "ahhhhh" screamed one of the girls"what happen?" asked Ricky worried about his friend And what did she scream about ? it was what you would never believe.As Shelly screamed  bob worked out where she was starring at  it was a tree with the most braches ever!  Or were they branched.The little thin sticks came to life!! It was a miracle! The branches were  not as frightening  so in sigh language flora asked the was but the was the were told seemed to be  like they were getting more lost well it just might seem to them that, the creatures are from this forest  they have to know the right way. Now the group got their way back  but there while  all of them stopped of a brake  there next to them stood the most beautiful creature  ever! It was fully trained by all the tricks it was doing.But wait there are two of them a male and female( you can tell by the different shadings).The team named the to creatures snowflakes and blue blaze.  then the two creatures starred at the team the  were not going to attack but were starring with hunger so they adopted the pets. The next hour there was a sound of chirping ,like sad chirping  there were no close- by  nests but one of the team members saw a little big nest, they looked inside there sitting were the most amazing Dino- like birds in the nest there seamed to be  some fruit and nuts.(The team were starving ) . It was the most extraordinary sight of a wild animal offering  a human(flightlessly) some food but they though it could be  a little dangerous  of attacks if they say 'no'so they took the fruit and put some of it each into the boys pockets( the girls had frocks and dresses on).Soon  a sudden rore  came to them  the out of nowhere a  huge monstrous beastly dragon  came in sight every one ran of  as they were running ,behind them the beast stopped chasing them  it was a friendly dragon! It was not a  beast it was just a kind  souled creature in the form of a monster.The next moment they spotted the dragon trying to get a bag of him in was a bag with the shape of stones in sight.So flora helped to get it of  and in the bag were the most brilliant gemstones!! The kind hearten animal gave each of them a emerald,a ruby,a amethyst & a  diamond!  Soon they reach a bridge the team didn't take match of it but a they reached the end each of them fell srate down a hole and there was the most amazing sight of odd looking creatures called terabithions,this means...they have reached the secret (underground) and of terabithia!! Now all they had in mind  was to note where there friends lived and for now to find there way back.So now Finn got the idea of Flora so she can ask the way h to town(the  reason they asked here is flora knows to speek the language of terabithions and as  they planned  the people of terabithia  sended a pixies-like  creature back to city and helped blaze & snowflake (who's real name was snowball) to their cave to.Today it was June 5th  the Queens (& the show of our little teams shows)birthday! But the problem was  they still had 'no plans' so just that night Rocky got the idea and what was it...it was what the mystery voice said to wallpaper the walls of  their tree house and record a 'video' and spread it all around the   inter media and as planned   they got a super hit show after all. 

Playing the Marimba

Today I and my class went to a 'Marimba' workshop with a guy called Dr.Neil. I really enjoyed the feeling of playing a  marimba  and the note sound but, I had difficulty holding the sticks and playing all the letters so fast because it was the first time of me playing the marimba.It was worth learning  marimba and I learned how to hold it.    

Granny👵

Granny was a very nice woman ,who had a very soft & gentle soul/heart.but granny was usually ill/sick.Granny was retired & quite unhealthy and  couldn't travel much. Granny was a full hearten  woman that was polite kind soul/aura & good .Granny lived with  a sweet,lovely, delightful & cheerful personality/habit that shone out her face tho  granny is a little weak now but is still the same  fair perfect woman from the inside. 

Highlights term 1 2017

I enjoyed...

- Da vinci  exhibition trip to the museum. It was very interesting    
-  My Golden time. Rob the nest ,it was really fun to learn.
-  The tug of war was fun but, the other team won.Well as long as it was fun
- Swimming  with hank was Great!especially the time when we tied up our legs and swim.
- The tagging production was very very very interesting to,even seeing the butterflies tern into cocoons and hatch out of cocoon,and looking at the tadpoles in my friends class
- Learning to weave was   lovely even though I learnt it in rm 1
- I was really shy at the soiree especially in the purple people eater.
- I really liked to make the Easter bunny basket.It was a lovey structure.

Swimming Safety  

On 13th March we went swimming to learn to be safe in the lake with A guy called hank and the rest of the class and room 15, but not the people who forgot their toggles it was odd that we got changed in room luck it was behind the board so we can get some privacy from the boys, Hank didn’t get in the pool he just gave instruction from the outside.

First we kicked and warmed up our feet bye kicking hard. my feet were boiling hot since they were in the cold for a long time and it felt better to get in a warm place finally, but my arms were already warm because of my towel and I was more comfortable on the flat surface of the pool the outside was bumpy   

Next we did whatever kind of swim we want, I did Dolphin dive as it's my favourite Kind of swim. Hank said “it’s not a race!” I listened to him.This length tern was easy as!

After that we did the most hard thing ever it was doing freestyle  till you need a breath if you need a breath you have to flip and swim like that for the rest of the time till you get to the end! Finally we were finished but still there was one more lesson, well not a lesson but a record we had to not swim but we had to glide to the end!  Just push of!

At last I got to the end and climb out the end it was freezing cold then everyone was racing to the class I still felt cold but my uniform got wet by my hair.
